Designed for convenience and sonic consistency from gig to gig, it is the only dedicated shock-mount isolation platform on the market meant to support, stabilize, and isolate popular boundary microphones.
The Kelly SHU FLATZ™ gets your microphone up and off the drum shell or dampening material, putting it closer to the sound source and opening up the response. This internal isolation platform allows you to leave the microphone inside the drum during transport without worry of shifting or damage.

Build Quality
Crafted from 30% fiberglass and high-density polymer resins for maximum durability. The system utilizes your existing tuning hardware for a 100% no-drill installation.
Professional Isolation
The system utilizes existing tuning hardware inside the drum for attaching the included solid rubber support rings between the drum shell and the FLATZ™ mounting unit. Pronounced “flats”, this dedicated shock-mount installs in minutes and provides a permanent, stable home for your condenser boundary mic.
