The Patented Kelly SHU Composite™ series is a high-strength kick and tom drum microphone mounting system tested by top touring professionals. Injection molded from high-density reinforced compounds with 30% fiberglass, it offers the same world-class functionality as our Pro series at around half the price.
The system requires NO DRILLING for installation and provides the flexibility of either Internal or External mounting options. It accepts any standard drum microphone with a threaded base or mic clip.
Professional Compatibility
The Kelly SHU Composite™ is best suited for lightweight, small-bodied drum microphones. It is fully compatible with newer Shure® BETA 52A and BETA 56A microphones. (Note: Older Shure® BETA 52 models may not be compatible).
