The KELLY SHU™ kick drum microphone shock mount is precision machined from a single piece of sturdy 3/16" thick aluminum alloy. Its solid construction provides plenty of support without sacrificing weight. The microphone post is threaded with industry-standard threads and features an oversized and knurled locking collar.

To allow for perpendicular movement of the microphone post, the tab is slotted and provides
1-3/4" adjustment range from front to back. The thumbscrew on the bottom of the post is easy to get to and small enough to stay out of the way!

Located around the perimeter of the SHU mount are 10 support cord holes lined with rubber grommets. It is not necessary to install support cords in all 10 holes, so the extras allow lateral adjustments to be made in the mount's position by changing the location of the cord hooks in the holes. A virtually unlimited number of adjustment positions can be achieved with this kick drum miking system.
