The KELLY SHU will be among prizes awarded to the winner in the "Best-Of" Drums category. The 6th Annual contest takes place at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, sponsored by FORTUNE Magazine and NAMM. Shure® BETA-52®A - We've added a page to the site that illustrates the Kelly SHU mounted with a Shure® BETA 52®A Kick Drum Microphone. There have been numerous questions about this particular microphone, so we've posted a photo gallery which shows one installed using the internal mounting option. The Kelly SHU will accept the modular XLR connection on both the Beta 52®A and the Beta 56®A drum microphones. We've also posted a few photos on the new page showing other types of microphones mounted on The Kelly SHU. With our system, you can use any microphone you choose, without modifying the microphone, giving you the option of changing out microphones to suit your needs. Since the microphone needs no modifications to fit The Kelly SHU, the mic survives to live another day on a different stand.
